	SAKI TAKEMURA
	Saki was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. She is a freelance illustrator and manga/comic artist based in BC, Canada. After graduating from Kyoto University of Art and Design with a degree in art and film, she worked at an animation studio. She enjoys creating art, both analog and digital. Her works have a unique view of the world that is funny and sad, beautiful and scary, light and shadow, and inextricably linked with humor.

	YURI AKIHARA
	Yuri was born and raised in a small fishing village on the east-coast of Japan, where the only way to get what you wanted was to make it yourself, leading to a very creative childhood. Swept up in the burgeoning indie Manga scene of the 80s, she has self-published a large number of comic series over the years. Since moving to Canada, she has enlarged her creative vocabulary with jewelry making, graphic design, clothes design, and custom doll creation. She has a taste for pickled ginger and gets on well with most cats.
